This is all interesting to me. Suppose it's all about targeted marketing. My noon time secret one was Bend That Arc from Imagine Nation in MT. AM was a Rare Barrel, PM was from Proclimation in RI.

EDIT: Also, just for fun, my box appears to have a little liquid damage to it. Looks like a wet/leaky box was on top of it at some point for a bit.

My am was a pistachio cream ale and pm was rarebarrel. Easy passes both.

Hearing some of y'alls horror stories dealing with Tavour makes me very appreciative that I've had no issues with them so far. Got one of my boxes delayed a few times but that was during that COVID peak where seemingly everyone's crates got delayed multiple times.

I have had less than stellar beers from some of the offerings I've ordered, so I know now to either not buy from that brewer again or be cautious about what I get from them. I can't fault Tavour entirely on that, just have to vote with my wallet.

Yikes!! This seems like a plausable theory but i sure hope not! What an awful thought...

I had my last box shipped 2 1/2 weeks ago and have seen not one beer in that timeframe that I wanted to add to my (now empty) crate. So I'm gonna go ahead and lean 'no' on that theory.

I thought this exact same thing yesterday. Saw Moonraker hops. Easy pass. Not anchoring a box around hops and the whole $8-10 for a can of hops is an easy pass for me.

    Never saw it here.

I received a crate that I've been pushing off since May or so the other day. They had e-mailed me earlier in the month that a couple of the beers that I had bought weren't in stock and gave me a refund. In the box, I was missing a can that I had bought two of, one of the Fremont B-Bomb/Darkstar combo and they cancelled a Casey due to it being "past its expiration data".

I had e-mailed them about this and this morning I got a response that they were refunding me for both of the cans and for the total amount of the Fremont bundle, even though I got half of it. I'm still a little peeved about the Casey, especially since I bought beers from 2014 that they had no issues sending me.

Haven't seen Wendigo yet, but after maxing out on the last few Anchorage bottles, my wallet is ok with that.

I would take Moonraker over any hop-producer from Cali that I've had TBH. $8/can is still stiff (though offset by how cheap shipping is if you've got 15-20 cans/bottles in your crate) but the biggest factor to me is timing. I never buy hops with a new crate because I'm usually looking at two months or so before seeing that crate.

Wendigo just popped up. $50 per, 6 per person. After having Blessed and Ten Years, I'm passing this time. They're excellent beers, but I'm not sure they're worth the $50 plus whatever shipping ends up breaking down to.

EDIT: Maybe if it was a 500ml. But the price for a 375ml is a big oof.

They're not, quite frankly. The 35 or so they were pushing for Endless Ending was already a little outside of the price to quality ratio. 50 is way too much, but I guess the hype train has left the station. They're fantastic beers, but not three 500ml bottles of Bourbon OE fantastic, as a direct Tavour comparison.

Yeah, I wanted to buy some of those. Unfortunately my box had just closed and I didn't want to fall into the trap of starting another box that would almost certainly be really expensive. Not to mention Side Project going to online sales and releasing a dizzying array of expensive beer for months now has been a total gut punch to the wallet.

Are you just driving down to pick up the Side Project stuff, or are they shipping?

Well, the 7 year old would probably be best suited, but he'd get distracted thinking about Roblox or something. The other two have a long way to go before Dad let's them into that circle of trust. Fortunately, I have 2 very generous friends locally who have been making some regular trips down there. I try to pay them back by opening fancy, expensive Anchorage bottles with them.
