Needless to say, that last beer got dumped. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. The gf and I are not trying to drink just for the sake of drinking, just like Chuck D doesn't rhyme for the sake of riddling. We sample beers together and if we're good 3/4 of the way through, that's good enough. Call it waste if you want; I call it being responsible. BTW, I have never had a bad beer from Tombstone.

Amen to that. Hits the spot year round! That brew is one of the few that turned my dad on to craft beer 5 years ago at the age of 53, after decades of bud light and not much else. Fast forward to present day, He’s always got a nice mix in his garage fridge, and he’s got what could clinically be called an addiction to home brewing...shout out to the Bison Brewers homebrew club in Erie county, PA! Those guys and girls make some good stuff.

Light peach colored body clouded with some extremely active carbonation; absolutely no head to speak of. Classic brett and wild yeast funk on the nose. The taste brings out the sea salt right away, nicely interacting with the tangy wild ale flavor; very mild presence of chili and lime, but not too hot nor too tart and citrusy. Medium-heavy body; gently tart and acidic; nice sharpness on the palate from the salt.

I may not notice any oak from the foeder or the watermelon up front, but the other ingredients do make a noticeable and fine presence. I think the sea salt really holds this one together. Regardless, this beer delivers some fine sour ale goodness to the palate.

This is a fine beer to nurse while we have a long lasting, fairly heavy rain drench us this late afternoon...nice to have the weather cell just sitting over us drenching us with some always welcome rain along the Front Range...

Had this once before pre craft days, ordered for rating and science. Won’t be a repeat purchase.

Tastes just like the lemon lime pop I remember as a kid, nothing else.

Back with another new one to me: Oskar Blues Can o Bliss DIPA citra. 8.2%
Tasty. Well balanced, verges to the sweet side (not bitter), and fairly priced....as usual. Cheers!

It’s amazing the amount of flavor that can be packed into a 5.5% ABV beer. Really well done by my local.

God damn it, it's been a while since I had a decent stout, so I really enjoyed this excellent coffee stout that is quite roasted, dry and bitter, with a great coffee presence that is enhanced by some bitter chocolate and licorice, making for great balance of flavors,

Beer #7. BAs, have you ever had a malted rice lager aged in wine barrels? I have now, courtesy @Dragginballs76 , and it’s shockingly quite good.

Boxed up and shipped out a handful of trade boxes this afternoon.

    Time for one myself...

This is Kunstler Brewing's Caught in the Rain. Double IPA with Cashmere, Centennial, Ekuanot, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops. Glad to see it opened without issue and poured a nice head - had to exchange first set of cans as I noticed slight release under the lid of some. Guess they had a bad batch of lids and some issues with their canning machine.
