    While they call this an "EU IPA", some soccer reference that I couldn't care less about, it really feels like a somewhat typical German IPA to me, if there is such a thing, with its quite malty character and bitter, floral, herbal hops, as well as citrus and berry notes.

    It seems kind of tame compared to other offerings available, still good though. I only had a single.

    Late start today, having a 2016 Xocoveza with some spicy penne rigate pasta. Probably not the best pairing, I figured the peppers might go with the spices I threw in the sauce. Need to start drinking some of these old 12oz bottles too now. Cheers!

    Not the greatest sauce but it works. Threw in a bunch of crushed red pepper and chopped garlic along with some other herbs and spices, namely onion powder, garlic powder, a little chili powder, dried parsley, cracked black peppercorn, olive oil. Pretty tasty, almost like a faux-fradiavlo. I'm used to real jalepenos and peppers in a fradiavlo sauce, but working with what I have. This is good.

    WRENCH My first experience with an Industrial arts brew...

    Poured into my tulip this beer has an opaque banana/lemon yellow shade with a dense creamy head. Nice staying power and some fluffy sticky lace.

    Scent is pine and tropical fruits (pineapple at the forefront) with a dash of spicy hops and a zing of citrus.

    Pineapple, mango are right up front. There's a spicy ginger-like note in the background. Not obvious; subtle and intriguing and does a nice job balancing the sweeter fruit notes. Long finish has an interesting sweet / sour / spicy transition. Sweet but balanced. Not a hop bomb nor particularly bitter. A touch of astringency at the end of a long finish but my lips are left sticky and sweet.

    Mouth starts creamy with very fine light carbonation and becomes quite juicy in the finish. It's almost like a two part thing.

    Drinkability is very high for me.

    I love what they did with only 7.1% ABV. This is really a nice IPA. You have my attention Industrial Arts. This is really good stuff.

    Unfortunately, his mother has a certain sense of humor, so when she found him and learned he hadn't been fixed, she named him Huevos, which on the street means something different than eggs. :wink:

    Holy F! :clap::clap::clap:
