Is this intended only for NorCal? I noticed that the donation form lets people specify whether an item is for in-person pickup only?
It is open to everyone across the country. I know several folks in New York and Chicago that have entered. There are also donation from all over the country. At the end of the day, it's all about the donations helping those that are in need. The prizes are just a great nudge to get folks involved.
As said above, for all over the country. There are a couple prizes that are area restricted such as the gift card to a restaurant in the area as well as the 5L keg (damn I would hate to try and ship that). The rest of the donations are primarily from individuals that are likely very use to shipping beer.
Unfortunately didn't win but glad I could donate to this cause. Congrats to all the winners, especially those who won multiple times.
Just curious how winners were notified. Did we need to be on the Facebook Live? Im sure I didnt win, which is all good. Happy to donate, better than spending my money on something less worthy...like buying more beer.
A good amount of ppl (I think I saw it hit 200 at one point) were on watching. So I think about 1/3 of the prizes were handled the night of. It seemed a good chunk were remaining local to SC so that helps out a lot.
