I have an alloy stein that I like...it has an interesting shape and it was a present from my sister. Unfortunately, one night after using it, I woke up with an arrhythmia that sent me to the ER. I don’t know what caused it, but I haven’t used that stein since, just in case. Heart is all clear, but I’m not taking any chances.

 

Liquid Love Sad Thug “Sour Ale” (granola, blueberries, vanilla beans, lactose). So much pulpy, ripe blueberry throughout and a good amount of granola flavor. The vanilla and lactose add a creamy, sweet addition to the beer. This is outstanding. The 2nd batch has been released and probably sold out at this point given how good this one is. These guys seem to know their fruit beers and this combo with granola could be the start of something interesting.

 

I hadn't planned on another beer tonight but I saw this lone bottle in the back of the fridge and it looked forlorn. It's aged really well!

 

Fun hop profile: lime, coconut, watermelon, passionfruit, guava. Barrel aging would add a nice layer here. This will have to do.

 

Oh, I’ll stay tuned for sure. Interested in your thoughts. I might just be too biased to make a clear review on these guys honestly. We’ll see.

 

Post wedding beer with some Hop Butcher. Felt relatively safe and stayed longer than expected. Had my fair share of Yuengling during the service and dinner. Cheers!
