Yea I am finding which ones are the most feasible. Some of them don't even let you message without paying an account. Match is that way, and I have only gotten one match and it flopped after one message lol. I actually had to trim my profile. I had been pretty open with saying that I got a DUI and was a recovering alcoholic. Probably should have not done that.

Like with social media, people only want to see the good/happy times which is why people tend to only post their best moments. When you start being honest and real about being a human like that, it makes people uncomfortable for some reason. It's especially damning when it comes to dating. Everyone's got demons and fuck-ups but throwing that out there from the get-go seems to turn people away. I know that well. Better luck in the future though my dude.

I think it helps also to think of a dating profile like a resume too. You wouldn't put negative stuff on a resume because it would damage your likelihood of getting an interview (first date). You only want to put the things about you that are really good or areas that you are improving about yourself; you can reframe your flaws as something you're working on making better. It shows what you've done, where you've been and how you're improving yourself to get to where you're going, while avoiding being dishonest in the process.

Back to the topic at hand though...

Anchorage's Self Destruct, a NEIPA brewed with Simcoe and quadruple dry-hopped with Simcoe, Strata and New Zealand Cascade. Even when Anchorage releases something as absolutely bonkers as something like this, I can't help get it and enjoy it, even if a part of me really wants to hate several things about it. Absolute beer sorcerers.
