Had two 4x4 mule deer bucks sparring along side our house this morning. Really cool and lucky to see. Wish I could have taken a few pictures.

Drinking a good one from Odell. :beers:

Having a Trillium/Vitamin Sea - Channel Charge right now with some leftover carnitas quesadillas from a really good Mexican restaurant around here, Montecristo. When I say quesadilla, these things are stuffed like a calzone, not just melted cheese in between flour tortillas, but with everything in it, rice, beans, cheeses, avocado, mixed veggies, etc. Every time I order I get the same thing which isn't usual for me, but these guys got the food on lock. I am required to put all of the sauces they give me on it as well to enhance the experience, salsa verde, a red spicy sauce, and a pink sweetish creamy sauce. The only thing to make it better is a nice DIPA.

Almost a month and a half old, this is still tasting great, more reminiscent of eating fresh grapefruit slices like last time. It might be part of the Rakau hops that Trillium hasn't used much before this collab, that really turns into a fresh grapefruit flavor after a few weeks the way they brew with it. It doesn't taste like grapefruit juice, it tastes like I'm eating freshly sliced grapefruit. Some tropical fruits like pineapple stand out as well, and peachy orange citrus with some dankness. Really interesting and nice. Got one more can of this I'm trying to hide in the back of the fridge and save for another few weeks, for science. Cheers everyone! :beers:

After you stuff the tortilla how do you cook it? Baked or fried? Is it sort of like a grilled stuf't burrito from taco bell?

I think they cook the meat and other ingredients and put it all together into the tortilla wraps. They may grill it a little on each side after it's folded before they cut it in thirds, not sure. All I know is the quesadillas are about 2 inches thick and completely stuffed with deliciousness.

Thanks! After tying the record for 73 90+ degree days this summer I won't complain. Despite the clouds and cold temperatures today the warm ground has already melted most of it. Cheers to sunshine and 80's by Sunday!:sunglasses:

A couple beer things going on in this shot. Pulled pork with Boulevard Pilsner sauce on the left, New Belgium sauce on the right. In the center, a just released fruited sour ale crowler from Junkyard Brewing, compliments of @erock435. Mahalo to @erock435 . And aloha to all the rest of the BA's out there.

I'm going to be trying three new American beers today, which as a resident of Ontario is not something I can say happens every day.

Starting of with Sunflower Saison by Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery in Virginia. A 750ml capped bottle served in a Teku. 7% ABV and distinguished by being quite floral on the nose. I like it.

These guys have been trying to make inroads in the Ontario market and have released a few beers here. It's surprising in a way, as they are by no means a household name among American craft brewers for the overwhelming majority of Ontario beer drinkers and Virginia is not a place that is front of mind when it comes to the production of quality beer for people in the province either. Nonetheless, I've liked the stuff I've tried and wish them the best up here.

    Cheers.

April Wine were huge in Canada back in the day. Saw them live many times. They are from my home town and recorded a live album in my high school auditorium. Stand Back is one of their better efforts. Also check out Electric Jewels and Harder...Faster. Cheers
