Any word on ESBC doing a wet hopped Mayberry this year?

 

Star B Ranch?

 

In 2010 and 2011, when I still home-brewed, I went to Star B to pick hops in the morning and then brew with them in the afternoon two years in a row. It was super fun both times and both beers turned out nicely. Highly recommended if any home brewers are considering it.

 

Nope, Goschie Farms/Indie Hops picked them super early and then loaded them onto an Alaskan Air flight bound for San Diego. We got some along with all the Pizza Ports, Burgeon, Pure Project, Amplified, and Kern River. They smelled amazing. The aroma on this beer is an explosion of passion fruit and sticky nugs.

 

Will this be distributed? I’m in the Santa Cruz area. I’ve like all your beers I’ve tried, my favorite so far being West Coast Kiwi.

Depending on what our yield is on the canning run, some of it should make its way into distro. However, I don't know exactly how much will make its way to Santa Cruz.

We do offer statewide home shipping too. We ship on Monday and Thursday. If you order on Thursday it should arrive on Friday.

 

Any reports on the Wet Hop Like Riding a Bike from Urban Roots? Rolling into Sac today, wondering if I need a pit stop to grab a crowler.

 

Only a few reviews online so far. Most of those say it is solid.

Probably won't be in Sacramento myself anytime soon to try it.....

We circled up with our good friends at Pueblo Vida to craft this hazy marvel, loading it up with extremely liberal amounts of fresh Strata hops from Goschie Farms in Oregon, plus a generous helping of Citra for good measure. Nug O War has been a highlight for me the last 2 years, so very excited for the strata version. And just ordered a couple packs of NPBC Strata Rocket, which I can't see being anything less than amazing, with how good Sorta Mostly Dead and This is Strata are.

Solid, very earthy and herbal. Which add a little more dimension than normal LRAB.
