Tavr customer service reached out and reconciled with me. The great customer service has inspired me to continue to be a customer. If they had handled it poorly I probably would not use their services again.
Honestly, their customer service is probably their biggest saving grace. Every time I had an issue with anything they went above and beyond to resolve it and make sure I was happy.
"Secret Stash" started showing up on my feed last month. Dont recall pulling the trigger on any of them.
FFS stop offering me hazy IPAs, fruited kettle sours, and pastry stouts. I haven't added a one to my box so I do not know why that is everything that is offered to me. I did manage to assemble a box before that dominated my options.
As an update. Box closed Wednesday the 2nd. Shipped the 3rd. Arrived today with my order correct. Was originally scheduled 16-18 as above.
Apparently they had a problem with a few shipments that went out. Another UPS in North FedEx shows that they received them and nobody knows where they are. I was promised that I would eventually receive my beer, and while I'm not sure that's possible they have already made amends financially. It sounds like those boys in Philadelphia had a similar issue, hopefully they get taken care of as well.
My beer shipment that left tavour on August 25th finally showed up at my local distro and will hopefully show up tomorrow. Theres little hope for the ipas but with a little luck my stouts will be salvageable..
Yep. They offered a full refund and told me enjoy the beers if they ever showed up. Lol. It's almost been a month.
I'd wager some of those ipas are still OK. A month isnt terribly long even if there was a bit of heat
Well if you're ordering beer to be delivered you aren't drinking straight from the bright tank so you've already failed to IPA correctly
We had record heat while everything was missing. I'm not sure the stouts held up to several days over 100.
Unless they're heavily flavored (and even then I just don't have experience to know) they should be fine. I've driven uncoolered beer across the country in the summer a couple times, trunk definitely hitting one hundred at least, and while it has definitely damaged hippy beers and led to some staler tasting light ales I've never had any noticeable degradation in big stouts. I'd honestly wager that they're all drinkable, although the ipas will definitely not be what they should have been. Definitely a shitty situation for the stuff you can't get again but I bet you'll still enjoy the stouts
I just had a local distillery deliver a box to me. It had to be signed for but UPS is not holding that piece up anymore due to social distancing. My box was just sitting at my front door. Not sure how you would go about disputing a box when UPS is saying you signed even when your not home. Great time for underage kids to order booze online. Enjoy
By next week probably could have had the Cycle cuvée set. Just had maple and coco nibs pop up today. Could have had vanilla and another one last week.
Well too good to be true. Customer service reached out and asked me to pay for the now recovered beer. No thanks. Deleted my app.
