Westmalle Tripel. This was my 'gateway beer' to quality beer when I reached legal drinking age, years ago.
Not the first time I'm joining @Shanex with the same beer (be it somewhat later). Probably not the last time too
    Cheers all!

Pomona Island (UK) - Oh, Hi Mark!.

Another terrific Pale Ale from Pomona Island, who really excel at these low-ABV styles. This is dominated by vibrant, zesty citrus notes, with lighter tropical, dank, herbal and resinous accents, as well as a good bitterness in the finish, packing in a lot of flavour and great mouthfeel for the ABV.

    Clausthaler is my favorite NA.
This one has been around for ages I believe. Nowadays most German brewers have a NA. Paulaner NA is even an official sports-drink.
    Cheers!

What do you think of the dry-hopped version? I thought the Cascade dry-hopped Clausthaler was pretty good when I had it, and even the original is far better than something like St Pauli NA, not as sweet I think. I haven't tried some of the new ones like Weihenstephaner Hefe NA, I wonder if that's any good. We have some breweries here in the states too devoted to NA beers, some with pretty good results like Athletic Brewing.

Yeah, that's kinda what Pomona Island do. ALL of their beer names are movie or music references .

Tap list the same as last week, so staying home with grocery store deli prepared wings cooking now, hoping for the best.

Edit: Posted later, wings turned out good, but not great.

Collective Arts Dry-Hopped Sour IPA. 6.5% ABV and made with Amarillo, Ekuanot, Cryo, Columbus and El Dorado hops. I am still on the fence about how I feel regarding these hybrids, although this is certainly the best of the half dozen I’ve tried. A couple of them couldn’t really decide if they were sours or IPA’s, so the beers lacked any identity or distinguishing features, for lack of a better descriptor.

Listening to Young Team by Mogwai. Post rock is a style I really enjoy, but it is not for all tastes I expect. Will be moving on to Explosions In The Sky after this. Saw them live a few years back. It was outstanding.

    Cheers

Claustharer is somewhat hard to get here. Not had the the dry hopped version, but sounds good to me! Weihenstephaner Hefe NA and the likes are not too bad and worth a try when you see it. Run Wild IPA from Athletic Brewing looks interesting!
