Wow. These boxes sound amazing! I finished all the ones from last year. I am very ready for a new round.

Out of all 7 variants, I'm only really skeptical of Love at Midnight as I'm not a big fan of Pina Coladas. But, I will persevere. Looks like fun.

Why does "Tuesdays are Tiimeless" have two i's?

I think it’s meant to represent an “11”

Could anyone shed some light on what exactly are the “vanilla barrels” used in the Virtual Box? The product description doesn’t make it clear to me, and I’m not familiar with such barrels.

I assume it's bourbon barrels that were used to age vanilla, similar to maple barrels:

Not a fan of pineapple anything. But last years Spicy Island was delicious. I'm sure they'll nail it this year too.

I really like how BT and pineapple go together. It''s the brightness/tang the helps cut the sweetness. Same with raspberry and BT.

This year's Pie Happy is fantastic. I really liked the original Hoarder's Box version even though I thought the balance of all the flavors was a bit off and the base Anniversary felt harsh. 2019's was a big improvement on the balance. This 2020 one is the best of the three. Smooth, balanced, and easy drinking today. Slight improvements over the 2019, I think the sweetness is dialed down just a bit (still really sweet, but feels right). Mmm!

Just opened a bottle of 2018 Hoarders Cuvee and DAMN!!! Straight up gingerbread with a kick of maple. I like it.

As a first year hoarder, I gather there wasn't a 2020 Hoarders Cuvee? I have fond memories of 2019 too.

2018 was the last year they did Hoarder Cuvee (that one is super good though). Not sure what you might be thinking of from 2019...

You are correct. I was thinking of 2017 when I typed 2019.

I wish they’d bring the Cuvées back! The blending contests sounded awesome!

Hey everyone, keep @PMR his family, and the Erosion team in your thoughts. It sounds like St. Helena (where Erosion is located) took a direct hit from the Glass Fire.

From an Erosion post on Facebook, it sounds like they’re safe, but still... that sucks!

As a former RS member, I'm still on the Bruery's email list and got one today where I could sign up to be on a waiting list for the 2021 RS.

I recall them sending a dozen or more emails last year and don't remember any mention of a waiting list.

Did the society sell out this year? Not sure if the waiting list is a real thing or just a marketing tactic.

Don’t worry, you’ll get 10 more emails before you have to make a final decision.

T-minus 2 days until they allow the unwashed masses (me) through the doors to sign up for the Reserve Society.

I think there is a window for renewing RS members to join. After October 1st, RS is open to everyone. They are probably trying to get new people signed up for first crack.

    ***EDITED***

Thanks for sharing. Scary stuff. I wonder where their production facility is relative to the fires. The tasting room can always be replaced, but they must have all this investment of good in progress that could be impacted by smoke damage or worse. I have no idea what that would take to replace, but would imagine up to a year or more!

Adding to say that I hope his family and staff are all safe as well!
