Yayyy!!!! When I saw the apex post, I mentally wrestled with myself, trying to decide how badly I wanted to try it. Now I don't have to do that.

It's going to be another fresh hop weekend for @draheim. On my way over to Holy Mountain to pick up a 4-pack of Cone & Cone, I stopped over at Chuck's Greenwood and grabbed a 4-pack of Citra Slicker, plus a 16oz of Best of Hands Cone Wars (which I just opened; added the BA listing a moment ago) and a 16oz of Seapine Citra Fresh Hop (inspired by @snaotheus's post above). Cheers NWBA!

I envy you alls access to wet :grimacing: *fresh* :flushed: hop delights. The stars may align for me though and I might be able to score some freshly packaged Russian river fresh hops (for the record they call them wet hops) tomorrow evening!

But damn, everyone around here keeps telling me were screwed cause the LA people are gonna move to the SF bay area and then the bay area people are gonna move up here. If I do have to flee the urban hordes I suppose I could tolerate the hoppy wonderland to the north

Ah, you’re up on South Hill. Yeah, they’ll have a good selection. Rainier Growlers isn’t far from where you’re staying. Might as well make the trek to Tacoma for E9, Sig, Edison City, Pint Defiance and/or Peaks and Pints.

Reuben's Fresh Hop Hazealicious. It's a good beer and it has noticeable fresh hop, but I'm not sure I would recognize the fresh hop character without knowing ahead of time to look for it.

At Beermongers on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in pdx, delicately partaking a lovely glass of fh pallet jack. Easily one of the best fh IPA's I've sampled this season. Just delicious, and with a serious hop bite on the finish.

Now drinking a Reuben's fh double crush. Really nice beer, but it was a mistake to order this after the fh pallet jack. Very hard to fully appreciate this beer after the fh PJ.

Don't drink it all. I won't be able to get over there for another few hours.

I won't, but I can't speak for others. Lot of greedy, thirsty, inconsiderate folks here today. And needless to say, it's a popular choice.

Course if they run out here, you could always bike a little further East and get a glass at John's or Roscoe's.

I would mention that Beermongers just got in cans of Bale Breaker citra slicker (their fh ipa). For those who were inquiring about the availability of BB fh stuff.

At this moment I am very much enjoying Citra Fresh Hop IPA (or Fresh Hop Citra IPA or Citra IPA Fresh Hop) from Seapine Brewing. Cheers!

Gone at Belmont Station too. Still on at Apex, but that ain't gonna last. People who missed out at 'Mongers will just walk across the street.

Ah well, I knew it would be popular. Couldn't be helped. Guess I'll have to see if any shows up on this end of town.

Moving on now to Holy Mountain Cone & Cone, which I picked up yesterday at the brewery. Fresh Mosaic from Carpenter Ranches and fresh Azacca from Green Acre Farms were used in this beer. Quite zesty and tropical. Cheers!

Unfortunately, it's really, really good this year. So no surprise taphouses are blowing through it so quickly.

How is it relative to others? (i.e. how hard should I kick myself for not going out of my way to get it)

Now drinking a Bale Breaker citra slicker. Quite good, but after the fh pallet jack and Reuben's double crush, it seems pretty mundane.
