Good evening, all! Fixin' to do some grillin', so I decided to catch up on my Oktoberfest stash while the grill heats up. This one is from Excel Brewing, Breese, IL. Yes, it's sitting right on the grill grate. On the cold side, though.

 

I’m fed(crusty farm bream grilled cheese and some black bean soup with tomatoes in it) and watching the Union. They have fans in the seats. Had no idea this was ok.

Opened an OB can o bliss Resinous. I thought it was supposed to be WCIPA style. Quite fruity with no pine or grapefruit. It was part of an OB IPA pack. Take away the expectations and it was an enjoyable beer. 7.2% went down like water.

Just got home from Roanoke VA. This is a colab between Westbrook & The 8th State Brewing, Czech In Drop Out Pilsner.

It makes me sad. Went to a local restaurant almost every week to get oysters, clams, and draft beer. As an old fuck with a dittany of health problems Covid to me is still real. A death sentence for me.

Yes, I am a *****. Not willing to risk it. I just lost 50% of folks here. Love all you fucks though.

It's not being a ***** - it's being smart and responsible. I know a lot of people who act as if there's no pandemic, and that's fine but stay the hell away from me. A lot of the new infections in my area are coming from family gatherings - no masks, no social distancing.

The holidays are coming up but I'll likely be spending them by myself with the exception of my daughter. I don't know where the hell people have been and who they've been with. I'm not about to let my guard down, it's too late in the game to do that.
