Picked up a can of the Blossom Citra over the weekend and it crushes. So far it's my standout FH beer for the season.

For non-hazy, I've been liking Stoup's FH variants. Not usually a Stoup fan but these are just clean and hoppy

In my experience, Pint Defiance typically has the best can/bottle selection in Tacoma. So I would give them a call to see if they're currently carrying it.

I believe Cloudburst said Wetwired would be sold at Cloudburst and Holy Mountain only. Both places are sold out of cans so I think you're out of luck.

It was brewery only at Cloudburst and Holy Mountain. Sold out over the weekend, way faster than they expected.

I had Stoup's Simcoe Fresh Hop Fiend last night. Super old school IPA. I really enjoyed it.

That's what I liked about the Simcoe. The Chinook was also a welcomed throwback. I'll never get tired of those hops

It's funny how Simcoe is now considered an old hop.

Now drinking a revelation machine from Ruse. It's a decent hazy, but has virtually no fh character.

Ruse is really big on mixing a single FH with a bunch of dried stuff. I know other breweries sometimes do it, but it seems to always overpower the fresh green characteristic in the Ruse ones I've had in the past.

My parents came by briefly to drop off my cardboard cutout from T-Mobile Park, and my dad gave me a can of Ravenna's Idaho 7 FH IPA. I guess he got the last four park the brewery. I've drank 32 unique fresh hop beer and have nine more in the fridge. On the road to 41 uniques at the moment. Not bad for being stuck at home in a global pandemic.

Knocking back a Black Raven Fresh Hop Northwest Ale, El Dorado. Whew, that's a mouthful of a handle. Nice beer though.

Scored on 6 different cans at Peaks & Pints today. Pretty much what I was looking for that they had. Cool place. So I’ll be taking backing back a case of mix Great Notion and around another 16 cans of mostly wet hop ipa/dipa’s (west coast and some hazy’s). I’ll definitely be flying back for the day to bring back some GN cans in the future. Thank you all for your help in finding some of Seattle and Washington’s best.

Finishing the day with a Wander fresh cassette. Pretty good for a hazy, and much better than the fh Ruse I had earlier in the day, but really lacking in fh character (though it has some).

For the TC folk. White bluffs posted this (the quote below) Oct 9 to their FB. I do like Mosiac. Might have to convince my wife to let me make the 50 minute round trip journey.

“Fall is coming and patio time is shortening. Enjoy the harvest as we release Fresh Hop Bluffdiver IPA today. Wonderful fruity aroma from the Mosaic and Satus hops but bone dry and assertive for the diehard Bluff-heads. Cheers!“

Thanks, and congrats to the other winners! Just had the Zoigl- Kolsch last night and loved it. The FH ESB by Baerlic was also the best non-IPA FH beer I had this year, so we're in good company. Can't wait for the actual OBA awards ceremony next year.

Anyone know what a 4-pack of Fort George Fields of Green goes for (preferably in Seattle, since the price would be at least 10% more here than Oregon)? I just picked one up at Metropolitan Market and it wasn't in the system, price wasn't posted either. Cashier pulled the value of $11.99 out of her ass, which was fine with me. After dropping $22 plus tip for a 4-pack of wetwired on Saturday morning (let alone all the other fresh hop beers that have been draining my wallet over the last few weeks), it would be kind of nice to know I got some kind of inadvertent discount for once.

Well there’s some amount of markup for breaking up a 4-pack but probably not 58%. I’ll consider it a win.

$18/4 pack at the brewery. You win this one.
