Can someone explain how Illinois is getting Celebration brewed at Mills River before the Piedmont in NC?

Buying 12 pack as soon as I see it. One of my favorite hoppy beers every year in terms of taste and price

Sounds like they held back on the rose petals this year. I just hope the cardamom isn't too overpowering :sunglasses:

Firstly, thanks for the first review of 2020 for Celebration Ale (well, the first that I read)!

The rose aroma/flavor is from the compound geraniol (from the freshly harvested Centennial Hops) and for those years where the content is high I 'extra' enjoy Celebration Ale but no matter what I always enjoy drinking this seasonal beer.

    Cheers to Celebration!!!!

'Tis the mystery of beer distribution.

I call it the crime of beer distribution.

I suspect the relatively warm temperature, particularly in combination with the malts becoming more prominent with aging, accounts for much of the increased liking.

I bought a 6 pack yesterday. I'm near the NC brewery. Price was about $11 at Ingles (grocery store).

Got mine at Harris Teeter in Durham, NC today. 9/29 packaging date and $16.99 for a 12 pack. Felt like stealing. Looking forward to popping one during the Eagles - Giants game tonight. That matchup practically demands a blood alcohol level of at least .10 .

Ahhh Celebration...I remember about 4 or 5 years ago, my wife and I drank about two and a half cases of the stuff.
It's out now in southwest Ohio...grabbed a sixer at the gas station today. Will be drinking them this weekend!

Thats because the butweiser distributor for the Piedmont area of NC (Winston Salem, Greensboro, and High Point) sits on their craft beers they receive until the "seasonal" beer is gone. So, fresh Celebration is sitting in their warehouse now!!! Celebration has hit the Charlotte and Raleigh markets in NC! Found this while traveling in Statesville NC. Sooo Goood!

Don’t you complain about that Oktoberfest- it’s a gift that will soon be gone. Just think how badly you’ll be craving a taste of that come 100+ temp days summer 2021.
