8 Crazy Nights BIF: Hints & Hauls

    and I did land a box the other day from Radio2525, I put that I received it, wasn't able to get a pic until today.

    The note came with a growler that says it is Columbus Brewing Co Bodhi DIPA,
    note says to drink growler now, not sure if it will hold. One package says keep cold, they were unnumbered when I received them, I put them in order of unpacking. Note says 2 small bottles are together.

    My target will receive his box today, it includes an incredibly fresh Delaware DIPA as well as 5 wants. Cheers!

    My target was last seen viewing this thread 15 minutes ago, and the box was sent to his office, so hopefully he has received it ok...

    got it, i went to beer geek christmas at 510 am and am behind in work. haven't had a chance to open the box. I swear i just sent you a BIF box no more then a month or two ago!

    Ha - no worries - take your time, just wanted to make sure ye olde growler landed safely. You did indeed send me a very nice BIF box a couple of months ago - hope you like mine!

    As I said earlier, your call on whether to open today or wait until Saturday. 2 more days shouldn't have much impact on what is inside, but everybody else has opened, so you have my blessing to go for it if you want.

    As stated yesterday, my box landed, but I was not home to post. My wife was quite unhappy with iadler for sending me such an awesome yet large box. Until she was home when I got back into town and saw how awesome it was. She was actually a little upset that I didn't let her wrap my bottles that I sent out. So here are the pics that I'm sure you are all waiting for.....

    The growler is in the fridge, but I don't know what it is? It says pete on it? Let me know Isaac.

    Hopefully this works. Trying to use a new app to post photos. The eagle has landed and i have been enjoying some dfh 90 min tonight. Thanks slvrmon82 for the box.

    Haha...yeah it's not the easiest box to transport. Did you also get the instructions for which bottle to open on each night?

    The growler is actually their Publican Porter. It says "Pete" because it's the first beer formulated by the owner of Town Hall whose name is Pete. I believe it's only been brewed once and it's a sessionable porter just under 5%. I tried it on tap and enjoyed it. Tons of chocolate and roast and some coffee especially for the low abv. Feel free to open that now.

    everyone,
    so before the festival of lights celebration begins on Saturday at sundown, every night we open our gifts and post pics of them correct? then at the end I believe everyone should post their entire haul because it's gonna be hard to remember everything 8 days later. sound good?

    That's what I'm thinking Matt! First night everyone can post pics of their growlers and then the second night the bottles start and so on. Then a recap of of all 8 nights at the end.

    Already thinking about it my friend! Though I'm thinking just to do 8 bottles next year without the growler, since the growler is so time sensitive. Also, maybe sort of other themed swag as well.

    Yeah ditch the growler part!

    I'm waiting till Saturday to open mine. it's still wrapped so I'm clueless as to what it is. Just tossed It in the fridge.
