I definitely dig these Colorado themed six packs that have been put together over the years (this is the 2nd I remember, at least), at least in concept. Can't say they nailed the beer selection, though I certainly don't think its terrible.

My Colorado Winter Seasonal Mix Pack would probably be:

    Left Hand's Milk Stout
    Odell's Isolation Ale
    Avery's New World Porter
    Bristol's Winter Warlock
    Great Divide's Yeti
And I guess New Belgium has to be represented as it is Colorado's biggest Micro...not sure what I would select. Haven't tried their Snow Day annd that is a style not yet represented sO maybe that.

I think they nailed it, but I would probably swap out Laughing Lab with Bristol's Winter Warlock. NB Abbey is one of their best and great Belgian dubbel. Isolation I think is just as good as Cutthroat so I could go either way on that. And another I'd maybe swap or could go either way on is the Avery Out of Bounds with Avery Old Jubilation.

This is just CO's problem, too much great beer.

If there's a Colorado winter pack without Old Jubilation, I don't want it. That beer is flawless.

In all seriousness though that's an excellent 6 pack.

    Mine:
    Old Jubilation
    Isolation
    Hibernation
    Upslope Christmas
    Snow Day
    Yeti

I still have yet to try Old Jubilation. Before it leaves the shelves this season, I will make sure to correct this. It's also been too long since I last tried Out of Bounds; I remember not caring too much for it when I last drank some, thought it was a bit too dry, but time has a way of changing things. Maybe I should give it a revisit at some point.

I guess I am in the minority here but I quite disliked New Belgium's Abbey Ale.

Yea, not sure how many people know this but it's actually rated in the top 10 of all dubbels and New Belgium's highest rated year-round and seasonal beer, aside from their Lips of Faith and Love.

    I like Josh's style.

It's my favorite winter beer and benefits greatly from a little age; still great fresh though. Perhaps the best part is that it can be found for $6.99 a six pack. If they canned it, it would probably be my favorite beer.

    I also like Josh's style.

    I don't think I could afford Josh's style.

All I knew is that it was their flagship beer, which I had initially assumed was Fat Tire. Not too surprised to hear it is so popular, kinda surprised to see it rated so high.

What ever happened to 2 Below? Or are we talking about darker beers..

2 Below was replaced by Snow Day as the New Belgium Winter seasonal. This is the second year for it. Not sure about 2 Below in particular, but NB said they're looking at rotating items every 2 years, so it might be back next year. I'm not a huge fan of either, but I'd rather have Snow Day.
I've always hoped they would make a Belgian-style holiday ale.

Not sure if this is true or not but I was at a store on Friday and they said that they were done to 2 cases and Avery didn't have any more. Guessing they would brew some more but didn't have any for order.

Old Jubilation tends to fly as Avery seasonals go. Get it while the getting's good, ese.

Was at Wilburs yesterday and they no longer had it in the singles section.

Grabbed a sixer of Isolation Ale instead, which I am liking more and more the more of it I drink.
