    I believe that I will start tomorrow's festivities with a cellar aged Orval - exact date/age TBD, but somewhere over 5 years of age - have a case (12-33cl bottles) that I should crack into (grammar). Prost!

    Starting off today with a Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter. When I had the first of this six pack about three months I found that there was a bit of alcohol heat on it. I don’t think I’m imagining things when I say that three months in the cellar has mellowed that feature somewhat. Anyway, a very good Imperial Porter. Brilliant on the nose. Cheers.
