Posted this in the upcoming imperial stout thread too, but it's worth repeating:
The Dry Dock anniversary 25-15 imperial stout is a good one.
I find it more on the malt/kinda sweet side, at least compared to hop-ish faves like Yeti

Traction, you are getting TenFidy from the Brevard, NC brewery. What is available in CO might be different.

Best non-BA stout in CO? It ain't peanut butter Yeti. Yuck! I'll finish it, but fuck this beer. Bring back chocolate oak-aged Yeti for fuck's sake!

Mexican chocolate yeti sucked too. I miss the old yetis. Espresso oak especially. That beer was money.

I think New Image is making some of the best non-BA stouts in the state right now. The entire Denomination of Origin series has been fantastic and the most recent Infinite Sequence: Canadian Coffee ranks among the best beers I've drank all year.

I've been drinking this one lately. It's definitely much sweeter than Yeti, Ten Fidy, etc.
It's almost like one of those big Bruery, Cigar City, or Avery stouts but without the adjuncts or barrels. There aren't a ton of beers like it, and it's good. Not sure what distro is like it, but they're selling 6-packs at South Dock. Their new canned pils (Cut & Run) makes for a killer contrast to it, too.

Is the canned pils different from the one they usually serve in the taproom? Been waiting for them to can that for a while.

Gravity Brewing Ain't Got No Month Porter is a winner in my book.

We’ve got fully revamped Dunwich (out now), Stout O))) (this week), and Total Funeral (next week) hitting...all now featuring various custom roasted malts from our pals at Troubadour. Funeral is bigger and more viscous than ever before...for those seeking such a thing...

    Cans?

Edit: are these planned for distro would be the better question.

I realize this is a non-BA stout thread, but I would love to see the return of Whiskey Funeral...

Yeah, all in cans...Funeral might not see distro debating that right now.

As for Whiskey Funeral...I’ll have more to say in January...got a cool thing lined up that I can’t talk about just yet.

Pretty sure it's the same beer or one that's very, very close.

From the outside looking in my guess is @TrveBrewer is referencing Lovecraft with the name.

This year's Quit Stalin is pretty fantastic. Roasty and bold without ever getting overly sweet. Think Ten Fidy crossed with Stone. Got a crowler of it a few days ago and want more already.

Have you guys rethought distribution of funeral due to the new shutdowns?

Still don’t think it’s going to hit distro, but with Covid and shutdowns I’m not 100% about most anything.

    My dudes!

Peep the Oatmeal Stout from Maxline if you see it anywhere... just over 7%, which is perf’d imo.. nice and roasty, smooth and full bodied.
