I don't know that I'd buy it for $20+ dollars either, but at least regular Rasputin is pretty inexpensive for what it is eh? I can often find it for around 8 bucks for a 4 pack... And year round.

Does this brew ever make up into MI territory?

I bought the XII or XIII (didn't they skip a year of this?) that sat on a shelf for about 4 months. I think it's worth the money at least once. Like Westy.

I bought mine at Bevmo in Rancho. All bevmos in the inland empire should have gotten a case yesterday. Retail is 21.99.

At $25.50 too, which isn't much above retail.

I was able to find a couple of bottles at the last Whole Foods 20% off sale (couple months ago). Already marked down. I walked out the door with them at $15 each, which was a good deal.

It has a really strong bourbon flavor, and tons of heat from the alcohol. Worth sitting on for a little bit.

Only had it once mostly due to the price but it was really good. I doubt you will regret the experience.

I'm actually one of the only people I know who was willing to pay the price and go for more than one, I bought eight last year. Love the beer and figured I wouldn't get much chance to buy a lot, and I was right. It sells out fast in GA. Shooting for that much this year too.

I am in VA and also love this beer. Just had a bottle fromlast year and it is absolutely incredible. I am hoping to get some this year and willtry sitting on a 4 pack of OR. I believe I paid around 25 per bottle at a total wine near VA Beach last year

It's good but there are cheaper options of the same caliber.

That sounds like Bottle Barn pricing.

That's even cheaper than bottle barn pricing. I think they usually sell it for around $18.

Pull the trigger the one time. You won't regret it. However, like many have said, it's too expensive for repeat purchases.

I think I'm going to pass on this one, as much as I admire North Coast and most of the beers they make. I actually liked the Old Stock better than barrel aged version, so I'm unconvinced that North Coast really knows what they're doing when it comes to barrel aging. The balance was missing from Old Stock Cellar Reserve. Has anyone noticed anything similar with the BA Ole Raspy?

I'll probably buy a bottle just to tick it... I still have a bottle from last year that I was ageing. I'll probably drink that one and then put this one in its place when it comes out.

When I see it, I'm buying as much as I can afford. Love it.
