    I have a multi-disc Mosaic Records set of Andrew Hill (plus a bunch of the Blue Note CD re-issues (especially their Connoisseur editions), but to have some of those cuts on vinyl is priceless to me...

    And I don't recall how many Mosaic box sets I have, but its going around 20-25 (including some vinyl releases - which I wish they'd do more of)...they do a nice job of documenting jazz releases...

    ...I've said it before, but I'd really love to see Andrew's "Passing Ships" issued on vinyl...

    I've got nothing to base this on, but I don't see Blue Note holding out much long on the Passing Ships vinyl. I have a handful of the Mosaic Record sets. Curtis Fuller and the huge Louis Armstrong one. I have the Miles Davis Columbia set Live at the Plugged Nickel which is out of print on CD now. Though I just found out they did a full vinyl release of that on Mosaic, even before Columbia did. Which is now, one of my number one wants. Oh money, damn you, I just want books, music, beer and every once in a while pub grub :slight_smile:

    Read an article where the CEO of Qantas Airlines said that if you don’t have a Covid 19 vaccine, you will not be able to fly internationally with the airline. The idea of mandatory vaccination has also been casually floated in England. And so it begins, the fight, and I mean fight, between individual rights and freedoms and the alleged collective good. If you can’t get people to wear masks, what are the odds of them being mandated or forced to accept a foreign substance in their body? We might be about to enter the most challenging phase of this debacle.

    Currently drinking the second of four barrel aged Imperial Stouts that are brewed by Wellington Brewery, the producer of my go to Imperial Stout. This one is called UVB-76 Sofia. It is also 11.9%, is Bourbon barrel aged and is brewed with honey, graham cracker and marshmallow. Unlike the first, it presents zero head or lacing. Like the first, it is excellent. Wellington Brewery might be on to something special here. Two more to try, which will happen tomorrow. Cheers. [​IMG]
