Something like that considering they said they were bottling it on Friday, lol! I can't wait for it to hit over in Dallas, this is the one beer from them that I will go out of my way to get.

H0rnedFr0gs told me CM in Fort Worth (30 and Hulen) got a huge shipment earlier this week. And by huge I mean about 100 cases.

I had 3-4 bottles of this years so far. It really is an outstanding beer in every way..maybe the bourbon came out a little stronger on my last '11 bottle. In honor of the near constant summer in TX, Rahr needs to make a summer batch as well. I can't invest too much on this with 2 Jester King beers coming this month.

I saw the pic Rahr posted on FB, yeah, it looked like they got a huge shipment. If it doesn't hit in Dallas soon, I'll be making a trip to CM FW.

Yeah, will have to head out there this weekend to pick some up. Glad to hear it's drinking well.

Spec's Downtown has no idea. Nor about Abyss, either. They also said Goose Island isn't sold in Texas. A clueless group there since Lindsey left. :slight_frown:

It's worth the drive if you're getting 6+ bottles. I wanted a case last year, I got tired of trying to find it in Dallas, went to Ft Worth CM... It was BAWW heaven!

I'll be in Dallas this weekend. Sounds like I shouldn't waste my time looking for it there, but should head west?

Is there a good beer store in Mesquite or Garland where this could be picked up? I have inlaws there who could grab me some.

Cm guy told me it was actually 400. Last year they sold through 180 cases in less than a week... So this year they got over half the production.

You "got" 2 cases??!? I've bought a case of it for the past 3 years(and about 6 bottles in '09) and I thought "I" was the "nut"....

Lmbo! Sorry, I meant my store got two cases. I'm only buying two bottles. I only decided to start cellaring beer about a month ago.

I believe AD Beer & Wine in Garland (Oates Dr & O'Banion) got some last year. I don't think there are any decent stores in Mesquite.
