    Modern Times Diamond Drive. A good friend sent this to me in a CA care package, and, wow, that's what people are talking about re: Sabro hops. Not sure I'm a fan; the coconut vibe is strong, playing off the more citrusy hops in a nearly pina colada way. Hmmm . . .

    Free Will Brewing Ella Quad Ale aged in apple brandy barrels. Excellent for this coolish Texas evening. Let me just say I applaud Pennsylvania’s allowing shipping within the state. Had this shipped to Pittsburgh where I was able to pick it up during the holidays.

    I was at my parents for the holidays, where it was cold, ice storm, then more snow. Now back in Houston where it is sunny and 70's hmm.

    At Local Group Brewing, with a Gravity Dancer Oatmeal Stout and one of the best burgers in town.

    Im with you. Hate to sound like a broken record but Sabro - I just cant connect with that hop 90% of the time. And I am not adverse to coconut beers.
