Trying out a Birra Etrusca Bronze right now. I actually really like this thing. The body is real nice and I like the way the pomegranate takes precedent but isn't overwhelming.

Glad I opened this one when I did. Very very slight hint of tang. Doesn't detract too much... yet... I didn't want to believe the infection rumors either.

    This is a grand idea.

Drinking this year's BBPt5th. Great beer and not hot at all. It's worth the 12 hours I spent at 4 Elf yesterday.

    Cheers.

Does it come with an ironic tshirt and an undeserved feeling of self satisfaction?

That would be great. One of the stores I frequent here in Chicago started to break the 6 packs and sell singles since they were selling at $16+ a sixer. I paid just over $2 for the can. Solid APA. Would I buy a sixer at that price? Heck, no. Like most Evil Twin and Mikkeller, with some notable exceptions, way overpriced.

After killing off a 750 of 2011 BA Old Ruffian (which was outstanding, like whiskey toffee) I'm going to stick with the 2011 barleywine theme with this. Very similar to SN Bigfoot, IMO.

In honor of the Skins victory today and RG3's knee injury not looking too bad I am going to drink a couple DC Brau beers I picked up today before returning home. First up the Pale. Not bad at all.

Nice, I've seen a few evil twin brews around, but yeah they're expensive. It's generally why I've avoided them, and a decent amount of mikkeller too. 16 bucks a sixer sounds crazy for an APA.
