Not sure. I'll nose around and see what I can find. One of my buddies gave me a $20. gift certificate for Tavour.
ADWTD TO for $100 sold out in seconds. Magically, all my shipping info was deleted and I couldn’t add any new address, so guess who missed out...as if I wanted to pay $100 for a 12 oz bottle. WTF is going on with Tavour? They used to have their shit together, but now evidently they are cracking at the seams or don’t care because they’re making gobs of money?
The special anchorage prices have been higher than on site but hell blessed which sold for 50 on tavour sold for 75 in California on shelves. But yea I logged on and said it had some available clicked right on it and said sorry this just sold out. Not sure how long it was up as I wasn’t at my desk when the thing popped up
I emailed them about shipping...the cartage company they’ve used this area has always been less than stellar, so maybe they dumped them and now nothing will be available. It was just very odd that all my saved addresses were literally nonexistent in the app. I know I didn’t delete them. Oh well, life’s way of helping me not pay $100 for one bottle of beer. If that’s my biggest problem, I think I’m doing fine. Cheers!
No shit! I finally managed to download the Tavour app to My Kindle Fire since it won't work with my Android. I created an account, then they asked for my zip code and promptly told me they're not shipping to my area yet. What a joke. It's not like I'm living in the boondocks.
They replied that the carrier for this area cancelled their contract for whatever reason. Maybe not enough business or too many complaints by guys like me...things were typically a week past the expected delivery date, which I might be able to overlook if it weren’t for the fact that the carrier’s package tracker stopped tracking once it hit a main hub. Then, nobody would reach out to tell me what’s happening. I’d have to call, they’d have no idea where it was, and then a day later they’d figure it out, and I’d see it 2 or 3 days after that.
SO many issues like this! Makes me want to start a local delivery service. Heck, one time when I called the main GLS number they told me they couldn't help because it was at the local GLS contracted delivery service and THEY DIDN'T HAVE A WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE THERE. You can't make up some customer service stories.
I’ve had the Tavour app for about a year and never ordered anything. If I was able to catch one of these elusive whale drops I’d likely build a box around it, but so far no luck.
I just downloaded Tavour and didnt see the ADWTD that everyone is talking about. Not that I could spend that much but do different areas get different beer selections? Or do things pop up and disappear very quickly from the app if sold out? I'm in VA if that matters.
Wow! I guess Tavour has never heard of Fed Ex. Going to have to stick with craftshack. Shipping is a bit pricey but good selections and service.
The vanilla adwtd and the TO were secret stash sales. They usually goto people who spend way too much money on tavour like myself (although for the past 2 months I’ve bought adwtd vanilla and tried for TO but nothing else). With the first adwtd DO can sale it was released to everyone and that was a disaster. Took me 20 minutes to complete because the app kept crashing.
First Tavour box was great. Everything arrived intact and on time. I was able to get some of the Anchorage stouts, which I was happy about. However, after spending probably $400+ on the first box, I didn't even get "the offer" to buy ADWTD TO or DO Vanilla. I get that they are trying to take care of their top tier members, but I wish there was more transparency about how they do it. When I emailed them in the days leading up to the TO release they said I would have a chance, but come Friday I never saw it. At this point I have enough beer that I can't justify keeping the app. If I am not eligible to get the big drops that I downloaded the app for in the first place, it's not worth it. If they had just dangled a carrot they could have had me for longer. In the end I'm not mad, but probably a little relieved that I have one less resource to buy beer from.
Halftime is selling the same beers for the same price and you actually get to pick what you want. Cashed in the 25 tavour gave me for all my bellyaching and will be using halftime from now on. Lots of Anchorage, bottle logic, modern times, Fremont etc last time I looked.
