Not really feeling any better, but the beer didn't make me feel any worse, so let's do another.

A close friend who lives in Berkeley sent me a nice box of Fieldwork among others.

I’m looking forward to your thoughts! It definitely is not your traditional Irish Red, but it has always been a satisfying brew for me with the amplified hop presence. Hope you feel the same way. Cheers man.

Drinking another Cold Harbor offering for the first time, not bad. Working on a review for NBW. Cheers.
Kind of a no brainer music choice

This one is my favorite Dylan song, when asked what it meant he said "no clue"

A favorite of mine. That subtle bit of smoke for the win.

Windmill NWI Lite Pils. Great beer you don’t have to think much about. Drinking especially well out of this new dimpled stein.

Back East Brewing - Ice Cream Man IPA -- A friend of mine gave me a 4-pack of this, and I'm really enjoying this. Definitely holds up with the top 20% of NEIPAs that I've had. I'm excited to try more of their stuff eventually.

See, I was thinking Radiohead was the obvious choice but, admittedly, I’m not a Dylan fan.

    A classic in every respect.
The fig juice is a nice touch, sweetening the offering just a bit.
That Blaugies fingerprint is omnipresent, and one of my favorite.

Woof. Bad day for NJ Devils, though good day for the Red Devils.

Aslin Full Stop. A touchhhhhh (and I mean touch) too sweet, IMO. However, I am absolutely thrilled that I'm seeing so many well-made Dark Lagers these days. Take me back to Prague, haha!

I thank you for your generosity. Personally this is one of my tops. Hey if you dont like it thats cool. True, except for the bitterness its not "in your face", but subtleties in a beer can be an attribute. A sub category of IPA's. Not NE, Not Midwestern, Cali Style, Anyhow enjoying my last. Cheers![IMG]

Okay, was going to review these two beers on NBW. However, unexpected but welcome company showed up just as I was about to review. Had a great time but didn't want to spend my social time on a device. Enjoyed both beers and I'll review during the week.
    Cheers!

Another cross-post with NBW: Black Orpheus, a Schwarzbier collaboration between New Jersey brewers Sunken Siloh Brew Works and Ashton Brewing Company. You can find better examples of the style but this is tasty, pleasant drinking and shows the promise of the two brewers.
