    Im digging this brewery. Twin Elephant out of NJ. This is a really solid IPA. This tastes like an orange creamsicle with some proper beer bitterness on the finish. Stunning

    Abita Mardi Gras Bock. A slightly above average Maibock. Not one I'd search out, but would drink again.

    Poured into my tulip glass this beer is crystal clear with the appearance of apple juice and a low bubbly ecru head. Head drops to a ring leaving some soapy lace.

    Scent is hard to discern. Apple, bread and something mildly skunky. Huh.

    Taste is orange, bread crusts, apples, pears. White grapes.

    Mouth creamy with a crisp dry finish.

    I'll admit I struggled with this one. Have tried it several times now. To be honest this is an odd IPA. No grapefruit. No pine. No dankness. Very little citrus. Very little bitterness. I mean it is different and I like different. But to be honest this just does not do it for me as an IPA. I prefer their other offerings.

    I remember the blizzard of '78 here in Illinois. Was 18 then. Remember shoveling neighbors roofs in fear of collapse. There was so much snow.
