New taps today, may hit Dreadnaught later (its a good beer, but not among my favorite FFFs), but here is one that is, my favorite Spring seasonal.

    Bell’s Oberon

Sirius 90s on the jukebox I believe, works for me.

The wife has had me hustling all day...before I feed the dogs, I’m sitting down for a side by side I’ve wanted to do for awhile - Green vs. Very Green:

Two delicious beers! Working on notes and pics for the side by side thread. Thank you to the very generous @gbiello for the Tree House hook-up. Cheers y’all!

A special treat arrived at my doorstep today, Founders Bolt Cutter. While i was originally going to wait till the weekend, alas, my willpower fails me. Great carbonation and head retention for a beer brewed in my second year of high school.

    Belgian style wheat ale

cloudy rainy day. Cloudy beer. On a Belgian kick. This one isnt bad. Had it back in 2016 on tap. Has some lemon. The yeast is so big in this it’s so dominating. Fennel. Anise. Orange peel. It’s ok. Extremely clean for such an aggressive yeast I’ll give it that. No complaints. Maybe just a bit too expensive for what it is.

Drinking this while frying up some wings the old school way. Double floured.

    Cheers.

Good Wednesday BA! Finally home from work and after crushing a Helltown Pilsner (pretty good BTW) real quick, I'm now enjoying a fresh (10 days old), local and new IPA from East End while making dinner:

BANKSVILLE is a Red IPA which is part of East End Brewing Co.'s "You Are Here" neighborhood beers series. Although it's a little hard to tell from my picture, the beer is a beautiful deep red color. Red IPAs are a rare breed these days, it is well hopped with a good amount of malt to balance, very tasty. BTW, Banksville is the Pgh neighborhood in which I work.
    Cheers!

Sounds like the Plan Bee 'Pompatus' farmhouse saison I had earlier this afternoon...all locally produced ingredients and wild yeast...somewhere in NY...it was tasty...
