Well, she’s deaf as doornail. Literally.

So, I’ve got to work on kind of a hand signal to associate to her what I want. Going to be talking to a trainer this week, she is a sweet little thing and she picked up what I wanted quick, in regards to I needed her eye contact so I would lift her chin and tap her butt to sit, and now literally in a day’s time—if I lift her chin she sits immediately. So that tells me she can learn quick.

 

Love will be in no short supply.

Moving on to a local double rye IPA. There’s a nice medley between the tropical fruit from the hops and the spicy, earthy rye.

I had a black lab with great hearing once, and I got to the point that if I held my index finger straight up, he would look at it, and, when I pushed at him, then pointed down, that was our silent sit signal. I managed to work other signals like that. Good luck with that sweetheart!
