Really? How much funk do you think there is in a fresh Saison Dupont? For that matter in any of the classic saisons? Sure the style has lots of room for interpretation and funk is not off the table but do you really think it's customary?

Let me pull my 2013 Hill Farmstead Flora out of the cellar or better yet a 2013 Saison Dupont beside it and see if there's any funk.

Alpha Abstraction from Wild Leap Volume 16 DIPA from LaGrange Ga. 8% abv.

Fruity, juicy is apt, nicely bitter. Not too much of anything, but it’s a very nice beer, kinda in my sweet spot. Nice siping beer starting dinner on a very warm day . With my current bottle WT Straight Rye. Kinda digging the Rye vs the corn. Thanks @Mbgreg

A beautiful day, sunny and 80 degrees. A near perfect (for me) round of golf. Only three over par. I'm ready to shoot my age!
Some Elevated IPA after the round.

Wife brought home a six-pack of Bodhi from Kroger today without being asked—and for no apparent reason. I’ve retraced my steps and I have no idea what I did. Anyway. Cheers!

They are about the only good thing about LaGrange! Well besides their fried chicken place “Big Chic.”

    A "hazy IPA" - 9% abv

"Brewed to be blazingly fresh" - features Rakau and Citra hops...
Been getting Enjoy By products for so long lol I just kinda bit on it before realizing it was a "hazy IPA" - not quite what I was craving - caveat emptor tho, no? smh - still a great beer, just slower to wrap head around it - reminds me of a richer version, fruit-depth-wise, of their Unfiltered Enjoy By - more orange for sure - lotsa tacky, shellacky stickiness, too, sweet but dank; it has bitter apricot fruit leather flavors, with a whiff of pine and a hint of lime... A full-bodied brew - wouldn't be surprised if I encountered some pulp...

    Earlier, The Botanist dry gin...
Awesome gin... Followed with a lamb gyro... Tremendous time...

    Cheers...

Have a good Monday. Still been doing 8+ 3rd shirts last 2 nights. Trying to put my name out on Linked In to hopefully get some suggestions for engineering jobs. Last night was breakfast sandwiches and hot ham and pepper jack; and the night before was Plenty of sub after the pork chops the day prior. I feel like most days are feeling longer for me now lately.

Just been listening to music and got a new glass piece with a percolator. Going to make a black metal song soon. Been working on my metal vocals. I found a tutorial. One way I did it sounds like John Gallagher and with less throat it sounds like Steffen from Obscura. Lol I'll take it. @Urk1127

Me and Julia are at Maize valley brewing. I got the Belgian wit. It's refreshing and very standard. Nice wheat soft notes. A touch strong on coriander.
