loral hopped lager. This one is floral and herbal yet not tangy IBU possibly in the 20s. Fairly hoppy but won’t scare people away who don’t like hops. Fresh clean floral. Solid. Loyal to the soil.

Just found this on the way home from getting my first Covid jab. The county's vaccination site, at the college hockey rink, is conveniently located ~ 1mi from the beer store.

Also grabbed some of the original, for a side-by-side. Not now, though. About the time I was going out the door after the shot, an odd tangy/salty taste hit the front of my tongue. Almost as if I had been drinking a gose, but with a little wild/sour ale funk.

 

I woke up to some snow this morning so I figure I should drink this last winter beer in my fridge.

TGIF! Well, I actually have the day off. We're having our traditional early spring, last hurrah freeze. 31 degrees this morning. Blah! Good day for something I haven't had in a long time - smoke beer. Bramberg's own Schlenkerla Helles. It's a bit of an acquired taste. I gotta remember these around Christmas time. Perfect Christmas Eve beer. Cheers BA's!
