No, I don't. I think the long best by dates for imported German Pilsners is crazy. Just go by the packaged on date and my personal limit for imported Pilsners is 6 months from packaging.

    Cheers!

Voodoo Ranger was more of a value situation for him, versus what he would consider to be very special. He liked traditional IPAs instead of juicy/hazy IPAs, and the price was good for an everyday beer. I think he stuck with Voodoo Ranger because it became his trademark. He knew how to post pictures, but he simply did not believe it was always necessary.

I think Nate should do two, one tongue in cheek, like what I proposed, and one that would actually be something Don would love.

 It only took you seven minutes between those two posts to empty what seems to be a 500ml pivo?

At this rate, I suppose it’s safe to always keep it to less than four beers per hour. Skål!

I was a slacker who did not finish this last night, so I will today. A couple hours lessened the barrel heat and cinnamon spice on it, which could either be good or bad, depending on your viewpoint. I’ll decide as I go along. [IMG]

In my defense, I was very thirsty and there was quite a bit of foam...

I hear you. It has dawned on me once when I mentioned about drinking Leffe blonde being not outstanding but I was only thirsty that there was another option to drink water, which seemed unacceptable and ... watery.

Enjoy though, weather is ideal for proper Pivo.

This is seriously one of the best stouts I’ve ever had. If you like a hoppy stout and can find this, pick it up.

Today is going to be a beautiful spring day in Titletown, USA! I thought about going to Central Waters Brewing for the 10am opening, but I have too many amazing beers in my refrigerator that I have to get through. If any of you BAs visit me and stay at my house, the next morning we will get up, run the stairs at Lambeau Field for about 30 minutes, have breakfast at Pancake Place, then we will take the spiritual voyage to Central Waters Brewing, arriving right as they open!

Saint Errant Black Knoll Imperial Stout w/ maple, coffee, and vanilla. Plenty of maple and vanilla, but decently balanced by the coffee, as well as some slight roasted malt and dark chocolate from the base stout. The 8 oz can is a perfect serving size too. Saint Errant gets well-deserved attention for their IPA’s in Chicago, but I think their stouts are just as good.

    Hubbard's Cave Raspberry French Toast.

That's "pain perdu" to Shanex. I'd be kinda silly to call it "French toast" in France!

@scream taught me to cap a bomber if it was too much to drink at once. @Danmullens1 demonstrated that lesson this morning. This is Central Waters Brewing's first brandy barrel-aged anniversary ale. People in Wisconsin love brandy. @miwestcoaster, I am heading to Culver's soon to fulfill your request. @mschrei and @BrewsOverHoes, have you seen this?

If you don't mind me asking, what's the glassware here? (familiar with the style, but what brewery is it from?) thanks in advance!
