I really liked it too; I finished my plate and my wife ate most of it besides the peppers. The lemon/butter sauce was really good.

And now on to another beer. Probably going to being working on this cask at home box all week. After over a year without a chance to even try a cask ale this is really a nice solution, cheers!

Here's a pretty raw jam with @tasterschoice62 that I've never posted before. Yeah, there's a few hiccups but it's just a jam and we take chances. Kevin O'Connell on bass guitar - random video clips from Rutland State Park in MA.

This is tasting better to me after a few weeks in the bottle. We amazingly got it here at day 6 in the bottle.

In many ways, that's the way I did play...

oh, I loved to find chord progressions and such, and then open tunings (basically open D/E things...

What I found interesting was that with my former impromptu jams, I would be the 'lead' guy while I got my jollies with ripping rhythm patterns...

Anyway, I still have the old Yamaha FG-160 (complete with an old Barcus Berry acoustic pickup) and my old Flatiron A-style mandolin...and, given some time (and tons of practice), perhaps I could get back to where I could play...ah, to be able to do a credible version of Duane Allman's 'Little Martha' again would be a joy...

Bro - you gotta go for it. Exploration is the key - play and explore. It's so satisfying to the soul - just play for your own enlightenment. Over time comes proficiency but you have to start somewhere. I think you have it in your soul ...

I’ll echo what @LarryV says. You like to play? You have a sound in your head? You are 99%+ there. Resist the urge to conform to a jam session or someone else’s ear. You like to make a sound? Whatever it is? Awesome.
