All good brother, always enjoy your awesome dinner prep posts. And I pale in comparison to you both tonight...

Another Day, Another Time by Odd Colony

I’ve been having a weird time recently. I just came off of operational sea tour in the Navy and I am now at a command with a much slower pace. It’s a strange adjustment. Having to slow my brain down. I want to remain at that break neck pace but no one else around me is there. I’ve done this transition before but it wasn’t very graceful so I hope it’s better this time around!

    cheers BA!

Almost movie time. Despite the lockdowns and restrictions, the government can’t take away my movies, music, beer, books, walking, biking, lifting and general joy of life, so fuck them, which has always been my prevailing attitude toward government under most circumstances anyway,

A DIPA from Quebec. Très bien. Cheers. [IMG]

Tired Hands DDH Grassman. I don't know, this might be edging out Trillium Cutting Tiles as my favorite honeyed DIPA. Luckily, I have several more to help me confirm.

Found a sixer of this with a canned date of 3/15 just today and picked it right up. Looking forward to trying it for my first time (!)

Burn Em 420 Special #3 APA (100% Citra and “Sour Tangie” weed terpines). Burn Em has never been shy about their love for the Mary Jane. The terpines legitimately come through on the finish and add a distinct tangerine/orange aroma and flavor that is much more than any Citra hop could provide. It’s juicy as heck, but with a firm bitterness and a subtle dankness. I really dig it. Would most definitely pair well with a joint. Not that I would know anything about that...

If you end up really liking it, I might just go streaking tonight!!! I know you appreciate a well-executed IPA, old school or new.

This is decent. Nothing superior, yet not a miss by any stretch. Thankful. Cheers!

OK, @Roguer, I have no idea why I deemed this our song, but it happened when we were both in CT. I do the Philip Bailey part; you do Phil Collins. Haha! Peace...

If and When I get another chef job Ive always told the people we are a team and not to call me chef unless its an occasion where the whole team benefits. Im completely self taught - school of hard knocks starting with dishwasher. You certainly know your way around and you enjoy it - and most likely love learning. Me as well - always learning, trying something new or putting a twist on something. Dont sell yourself short. Im sure you are a great cook and thats the most important thing because if youre not a great cook you cant be a chef. Cook on brother!
