Metalhead. Double IPA from Nickel Brook (Canada, ON).
    Cheers!

Not a Metalhead myself, but this tune is in my all time top 10. Can be labeled as early metal at least I guess.

Starting off the day with an Otter Creek Bonus Stage IPA. It's a NEIPA from Vermont, so my expectations were high. It's ok, but nothing special. Plenty of citrus & tropical notes.

I believe Hop Stoopid would have been the more appropriate Lagunitas pairing for the start of your day. Now I want to watch La Horse after the great opening you posted.

Nice and easy for me today.

Listermann Brewing Co. -- Shamrock Shake (Irish cream stout)

    4.29/5 rDev +5.7%
    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Dark brown, nearly black body; very thick, dense, and creamy light khaki head. Heavenly blend of cocoa, mocha, milk chocolate, vanilla, and gently roasted grains in the smell. Sweet milk chocolate taste infused with cocoa powder; vanilla. Heavy body; smooth and oily on the palate; excellent residual sugar body.

Listermann's casts this beer as an Irish cream stout. It certainly comes across with a fine blend of sweetness, chocolate, and creaminess. It is very rich and complex. No bottling information found on the bottle.

Good afternoon, all! This may not be 0 IBU, but it doesn't miss it by much: Dr. Juice, from Parish Brewing. Straight-up orange juice, right down to the finish. This would have been good with my Egg McMuffin this morning. Live and learn. :slight_frown:

I'm a big fan of weed, but not so much as a flavor in beer. Bought a mixed 12 pack and got three of these. I won't seek this one out on it's own.

I agree, unfortunately I’ve never had Hop Stoopid. Although it’s Heineken-Lagunitas and it should be fairly available even here. No, not even to be found online. Weird.

    Ok guys ...
    Back home from work ...
    Stomach tight, nerves tense ...
Here there are those who experience sport badly.
I try to dissolve for a moment with this wonder that I kept in the cellar for a relatively short time (a year or so ...)

Anchorage Brewing (Alaska, USA) + Tired Hands Brewing Company (Pennsylvania, USA) - MIGRATING EYES Batch #2 - Saison (8%)

Splendid mixed culture saison, fermented in alaska with "house yeast" Saison by Tired Hands, in French oak foudres with peaches and apricots.
    37.5 cl. Bottle
Second time in my life that I drink it.
At first glance, on the nose it seems to have uncorked a Chardonnay. After a while, however, typical apricot aromas open up (as well as the delicate barrel scent).
    Poured, golden color, slightly opaque.
Foam practically non-existent: little and disappears as soon as poured.
In the mouth an amazing beer with fruity notes that prevail over very polite funky hints.
Apricot above all, a slight acidic tip typical of the fermentation of fruit in wood that leaves room for an astringency that dehydrates the tongue a little, in a spectacular way for my taste, but could be unpleasant for many others. I would like to clarify a need that is absolutely not exaggerated, but perceptible but without being intrusive.
Short, dry beer with a very flowing body.
    Wonderfully concealed high alcohol content.
    I remembered her similar.
For my personal tastes, really appreciable.
    Sláinte !
    Cheers !

Second one of the day is Blue Point Imperial Sunshine. It's an orange soda alky-pop. I'll remember not to get this one again.

The first one tasted good, so I opted for another one. Which brings up a question: how many beers constitute a "session?" Two? Three? Six?

You may not be aware - Sixpoint beers are contract brewed by City / Blues City Brewing in Memphis TN - not Brooklyn NY
The original small brewery is in Red Hook / Brooklyn, but all their canned offerings are contract brewed by City (SP is owned now by Artisanal Brewing Ventures - who also own Southern Tier and Victory - bought in 2018 I believe from Shane Welch)

Hey @Shanex like my lovely French girlfriend, do you put mayonnaise on your fries too?
