Trillium Twice the Daily Serving with Blackberry, Plum, and Raspberry. Settling in for my last bachelor night before the GF returns, trying to decide what schlocky sci-fi or horror I might watch. Doesn't have to be schlocky actually . . .

Totally forgot to post from last wknd:
Luce Line Brewing... 2 miles from my Stube. First time there finally! and it was busy. Had 2 styles: Rye Pale Ale and a Pilsner. Both very nice. Rye good and bitter had lots of lemon rind and grapefruit. Rather juicy. Pils was crisp, clean, good tasting and EZ drinkin'. 1st served in the wrong glass. But since I'm a pils lover deluxe, 2nd was in the correct vessel. Dammit. Don't make me wrestle with the wrong type of vessel. Nevertheless they have 15 beers. So return I shall to yonder beer factory. They offer other things I'd like to try before rating/reviewing anything. Nice to get out and support local. Cheers!

Ramstein Amber Lager from High Point.



Definitely a very good amber lager, by whatever standard or sub-style it may be classified as. Seems more of a classic Vienna lager than an American Amber Lager (which may or may not have Classic, American Adjuncts!)

Brilliant to the eye, too: NONE of that hazy, passion fruit + Citrus + prison hooch + ludicrous ABV nonsense goin’ on, here!

Holy smokes....at first glance I thought that was dead cow. The white paws looked like hooves and the black+white coloration...well...at any rate, apologies to your dog!

 

Heist brews have usually been a hit with me, this one not so much. The beer I had before wasn’t great either, but I’ve got 3 more of each to learn to love’em. Should have just bought a case of SN Torpedo for the same money or less and been better off.
