Now the Grisette from Templin Family Brewing.

 

Man I didn't realize how much a needed a bitter IPA. So damn good.

 

This is quite nice. November 2011 bottle. Large raisin smell opens up to a chocolate as it warms. It’s a bit thin but smooth. Nice brown ale. Not sure what the wood taste like but I like this beer.

I liked it a lot. I asked for a small pour, expecting a sample, and that's what I got.

Very smokey, but not overpoweringly smokey. Nicely balanced with grainy sweetness. Slight nutty bitterness.

 

That might be what the bartender said. I thought she said 'schmidt' or something.

Just broke a beer glass. Thank God it was one of the more expendable one. Weird muscle twitch, which seems to happen more often now. Been twitching & dropping stuff. Wil keep an eye on this. SweetWater 420 IMP APA

The closer. Narrow Gauge Foeder Double Vanilla To The Yard. IPA brewed with lactose, fermented in an oak foeder and aged on vanilla beans. Slightly bitter from the hops and sweet from the vanilla beans. Smooth from oak aging.

 

And, what are we cooking tomorrow? Grilling chicken breasts and pork ribs or is my compass way off the chart?
