Hi all. I'm headed to San Diego in early September with kids in tow. Recommendations of family-friendly (i.e., good outdoor space, ample indoor space, board games or video games to play) bars/breweries to prioritize visiting? Ideally, would be in Gaslamp (Padres pre-game) or La Jolla-ish, but would readily venture to other neighborhoods for the right experience. Many thanks! Best, R
Pizza Port in Ocean Beach had a bunch of kids running around and 2 arcade games and 1 pinball machine Outdoor space and hella indoor space
My Yard Live in San Marcos has a huge space, a ton of games, air hockey, pool, shuffleboard, video games. I had their IPA and it was rather good.
+1, Pizza Port feels like a glorified daycare center on weekends. North Park Beer Co has skee ball, darts, is kid-friendly during the day, and is producing the best beer in San Diego. Not too far outside of downtown. Also, Alesmith has plenty of space, cornhole, and maybe some board games? No arcade games but family-friendly and just east of La Jolla.
