Got the wife out of the house and to the bar for a change.
Been a while since I visited the Londoner. All things European. Very pleased to find the Franziskaner and wife is drinking a Taddy Porter and a couple of shots of Tullamore Dew.

It’s been years since I drank in a WoB (so long that the bartender can’t find me in the computer!). Lot’s of beer on tap, some I’ve had, most I’m not interested in…I’ll check the bottle/can list…Cheers gang!

Absolutley top tier. One of my absolute favorites. This hangs with any TH and rises above many. 6.8% explosion of aroma and flavors. Cheers.

I’ve had a lot of good ones recently as well and that same thought has entered my mind. Seems as though many brewers have been able to elevate their game to be considered World Class beers, not just on BA, but in terms of general classification. The only question remaining is how we move forward in regards to actually finding a beer that reigns great amongst the rest? I don’t know about you, but I miss having something I consider truly better or at least different than what I can obtain on a regular basis. Seems as though the thrill of chasing that “special” one is diminishing. Thoughts? Cheers.

One of my co-workers bought 30 cases of this beer recently. I never spotted it last year, but jumped on a six pack this week. Cheers all!

 

Kicking off the weekend with an Old Nation M-43. The Cardinals just won the first game of the doubleheader at Wrigley. That’s 13 wins in a row. If they manage to win the second game they will tie the modern consecutive win streak for the Cardinals set by the 1935 Cardinals (AKA the Gashouse Gang). Their magic number to get the second wild card spot I believe is now 5. This team played slightly over 500 baseball this year and just ignited this month.

I can get this brewed here in RI. A true unicorn.
I feel you but Ive never been much of a "chaser" so to speak. I really just roll with it and try to find the best around me- OR participate in a BIF which Im doing presently- that way you can obtain beers from all over the country.
I think the sea of hazy NE style IPAs is whats so cluttered with blah wanna be's...of course that being said this is one- but its a damn good one- ha ha!
I think stepping away from these and BBA stouts you find it easier to get to "that one". Cheers my friend!
