First time having this one. I think it’s the only RR Wild Ale I haven’t tried yet. How do you like this one and what’s your favorite Wild Ale?

Misty cool after work hike with the pupster....man, what a difference in the fall color from last weekend - things are finally starting to pop! Several weeks late it seems, from previous years!
And now, ......beer....of a gourdy variety!

First impression: pours a translucent amber with a two finger honey colored head. Reduces to a nice ring, not much residual lacing.

aroma: some honey on the front, followed by some dank hop, sweet malt rounds out the bill. Is this some kind of hopped up Oktoberfest? I think I might have had this before. Only time will tell…

taste: honey and brown sugar sweetness on the front with a bitter hop profile in the middle, finishing a bit earthy and lingering toasted malt body. Delicious, I really like this beer.

feel: velvety smooth but the carb and hop bite cuts it nicely. Finishes dry. What a treat.
Wow, did not expect this! I haven’t had this beer before as Great Lakes doesn’t make it to my particular area for whatever reason. The bitterness in this beer is low, to the point I never imagined an IPA. Overall, I really liked it. Thanks so much, Chris. Cheers all.

Happy Friday BA's! Having a classic Belgian to take edge off a nutty Friday. Loving these yeasty, estery aromas, and I'm not even a huge Belgian beer fan. Trying to decide on the best food pairing. BBQ maybe? Thick juicy steak? Cheers all!



I ran across this version of That's My Desire the other day. Never heard it before and video is cool too. Louis was not just a great musician. He was a great entertainer too. They just don't make'em like they used too.

 

1st beer from Kishwaukee Brewing is a BA Imperial Stout, not the best ive had, but awfully good!

Now I am drinking Past Present Pretzel, a wonderfully aromatic 8.2% juicy IPA from Trillium. Thanks to @DavetotheB for the beer. Hoppy Friday Advicates!

Consecration and Temptation are my favorite. Imho though, they both lost a bit of luster the last time I tried each. What do I know though?

 

Weather is finally turning fallish in N. GA. I love this beer from Arches Brewing. Comes out this time of year. Absolutely excellent Schwarzbier - Black Gold. Notes of roasted malt & chocolate malts. Restrained bitterness. It drinks so easy! Cheers!
