Lone Star Time.

 

I recently bought the original Shaft soundtrack and have been enjoying it, so that made me feel like watching the original movie, not the remake with Samuel L. Jackson. I'm watching it now and really enjoying it, I can't remember if I ever saw it before. Shaft is a bad mutha ... I love the gritty NY scenes. Having this while watching it ..

 

I figured a few of you might appreciate that level of detail and even delight us wiht some additional jokes and perspective. And believe me, I'll take a plateau right now...

Even the more recent two Shaft movies though not as quality as the original make for a good watch in today's unremarkable movie climate.
