What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3337

Good afternoon BA's! Today has been on the cooler side with some sun and temps maybe to 45 for the high.

Today's first choice is Founders Bottleshop Series #2 - Highball Drifter which is a really well- crafted beer cocktail but pretty thin for the high abv. I have never had an Old Fashioned but the beer reminded me of cocktails my grandparents and parents would have had. Overall pleased with how the beer came across.
No music going on at the moment as Da Boss is talking to her boss.

I really enjoyed mine on Friday 5/20/22!

 

Aged for 2 years but think I prefer this fresh. Still decent but won’t do this again.

 

Yup at not even a month old this rocks. Ironically I was in my dorm room at Ball State that night as well. Ran to a good friends room...devastating

 

Now for Braxton's Base Imperial Stout and DDH Cashmere IPA....

No chance of a white Christmas in GA this year (or most years for that matter) but we can dream.

 

Circling back to SNBC's Atomic Torpedo again today. Nose is definitely dank compared to the Highball Drifter from Founders. Solid brew but short of being spectacular.

Aw heck. Round 2. Felt like using a Becher for this Brickway Jalapeno Pilsner. Awesome! and has gentle heat in the throat. Very smooth. Cheers!

Two pages? Hooooooo, where my BAs at?

Having a beer with dinner, because I had another back breaking day, household is held up while the missus is on an island, and why the heck shouldn’t I?

It probably doesn’t look that good, but this pepper burger and glazed Brussels sprouts with this Autumn Parabola is a preset tasty match.

The Parabola? World class. Great aroma of wheated (?) bourbon, followed by a bold flavor profile that is clean, complex, biting, and interesting.

Plus, always thanks to @IKR for the awesome FW Glencairn glasses.
