    Good Sunday afternoon, BAs. I just reviewed this Flanders Red Ale from Side Project Brewing on the NBW thread. I received it (and the cool Lambic glass) from @FBarber in the recent NBS BIF. A few years ago I wouldn't drink a beer this sour but thanks to the inspiration of Beer Advocate my taste horizons have broadened considerably and I can now appreciate what a fine ale this is.     Luke Purcell - who started Collision Bend (named for a notorious curve on the Cuyahoga in the Flats, where ore boats navigate) - was previously Brewmaster at Great Lakes BC nearby!

    That's one of my favorites from Beer'd, for exactly what you mentioned in your review: it's bitter, almost abrasive, and very much a throw-back imperial IPA. :slight_smile:

    This member of Industrial Arts’ Wrench series is at the opposite end of the ABV spectrum from the Pocket Wrench I posted in WBAYDN #3339. It’s the biggest brother of the bunch at 10%. If hard pineapple juice was a thing, this is what it very well might be like. Hard pineapple juice with hops. :+1:
