AB InBev says goodbye to Anheuser-Busch's eagle

    So a multinational company changed their logo and this is now being interpreted by some as an attack on American pride/tradition/identity... Not sure why I'm surprised. I mean populist BS are all the rage these days.

    By a few, yeah... But, in some ways, it couldn't happen to a more deserving company since the old Anheuser-Busch played that game when their primary US competitor at the time, Miller Brewing Co., was purchased by UK-based SAB in 1999 (though frequently still referred to as "South African Breweries" at the time) and then the #3 brewer in the US, Adolph Coors, merged with the Canadian Molson Brewing Co. in 2004. Thus those advertising items posted back on page 1 in post #13. :rolling_eyes:

    The picture is from the HBO series Peacemaker.
    John Cena's character has a pet bald eagle named “Eagley”. Other characters were making fun of that and asked if he named his pet dog “Doggy”.
    The series is a direct follow-up to the 2021 Suicide Squad movie[​IMG]
