    Time for a Hop JuJu. I'm in the zone. Thanks, @JayORear. When I was a kid, I used to read poetry more than standard fiction books. I loved it. The words drew me in, took a grip on me, and refused to let go. So naturally, when I discovered rap music, I was drawn to lyricists that could make me hit the "rewind" button. Yes, I'm from the cassette tape era. Anyhow, I get into debates with my friends all the time because they know I have ridiculous standards when it comes to writing. I love you all. Peace...

    Ich habe fünf Jahre in Deutschland gelebt – zwei in (damals) West-Berlin und drei in Sembach AB und Enkenbach.

    Und, zu klar sein, mein Deutsch ist schlect. Too many years vergangen with no practice and little memory of what I learned in high school 50+ years ago let alone when I lived there in the late 80s (Google translate helps a bit, though...:grin:)...

    We’ve gone through our fair share, unfortunately. A suicide, a few accidental deaths from water temps tire shock… We won’t try anymore Beta’s or Glow Fish. Just mutts. Cheers.

    Time for dessert and grabbed another from the Box of Chocolates, Vanilla Creme from Brother Chimp and Oswego Brewing companies. Well done, actually. A surprise that the vanilla is so well integrated, but it does have a touch of that metallic acidity on the back end I sometimes get from imperial milk stouts.

    Summited Monroe and Washington today. Epic adventure after another big thaw/freeze.

    This fresh local juice is just what I need right now, and up on the northern Presis it's like roving the surface of the moon, so this is quite fitting:

    I don't do selfies much, but... this ones' kinda iconic in the Northeast.

    Got some great weather albeit a bit breezy. Quite an adventure above treeline where it is a massive frozen ice/rock wasteland.

    Your German is quite good! I was born and live in Cologne, but actually much prefer Alt to Kölsch. Also, the fucking carnival started today, which I cannot stand. I'm a terrible "Kölsche Jung", despite being born on Rosenmontag :stuck_out_tongue:.

    Driven through Köln on a trip to a huge outdoor concert somewhere in Belgium. Also rode a train through the city on an ill-fated trip to Amsterdam with my friend Cal (both in the late 80s).

    Love a good kösch yet also love alt biers, too.

    Well, who knows. Perhaps if Mrs. BG and I do an extended European vacation, we, too can meet up.
