    look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.5

    This is a fine, smooth, easy drinking sipper. The base beer has a great oatmeal stout smoothness and lusciousness while the spices provided a complementary spark to the beer. The high ABV is noticeable but not overbearing.

    There's another 5 to 6 six packs behind that stack. Person meant well but I can't remember the last time I had one.

    Used to drink that beer and brewery a lot.. been some years kind of jealous. It seems our local distributors picked up shit like Other Half and dropped stuff like Penn. Damn shame

    Sitting out drinking a Highland Brewing Oatmeal Porter. Smooth but with a char flavor and some hop zing. Enjoy their porters and stouts.

    I can't think of a more aptly named beer to have after today's awesome hike.

    Cold Vein by Modestman. Single-hop Galaxy, which happens to be also my fave hop. So yeah, still my top beer 2022. Only possess one more after this.

    Summit approach. Love this place, 4th ascent, 2nd in winter. Last time was Christmas Day 2016 for a sunset hike. Always different aside from the wind. That's constant haha.
