Brewing Projekt Jungo Joose Pineapple/Plum/Sea Salt Imperial Fruited Sour, 8.1% ABV. Pours thick, medium-reddish-brown, and opaque, with a 5/16" light orange head that left puree residue. Nose is pineapple and plum, taste follows plus sea salt, quite sweet, slightly tart. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Overall outstanding. One of their better fruited sours. Like Drekker, BP is also using plum to good effect, takes the sharp edge off tart fruits.

    4.39/5 rDev +1.6%
    look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.5

After so many years, every time I try to type "decent", my hands want to type "DECnet", a long-dead TCP/IP competitor you kids wouldn't have heard of.

OH Canal Street while Sous Vide some steaks to finish in Cast Iron. OH is way overpriced. Their beers are good but holy shit TH and Trillium are less among many others.

Wondrous Brewing Sleeping Chamber. All right, I'm going to cut to the chase (calling @TheIPAHunter): this is the closest to OG Alpine Nelson I've had in years. Brewed with Nelson, Rye, and some Wakatu (!), it has the same hazy (not turbid) appearance, white wine nose, mouthfeel, and rye bite. If someone told me this was Nelson brewed to the original specs, I wouldn't doubt it for a second. Wondrous is killing it right now; their TIPA beat out Pliny the Younger in the Bay Area's oldest running IPA tournament a few weeks ago, and I may have to drink that next. Thanks for the hookup, @skochdopotato!

Awesome!!! I like the can art, and I can only imagine. Nothing like Nelson when it's done right. Cheers, brother!

Is it growing on you? During Covid isolation I got a 28 pack of Sam every time I got delivery from the wholesale club. Mostly drank it out of the bottle. There was a time when that beer was awesome, that time has long since passed

I remember going into a liquor store and the only beer they had was bud and Miller. Asked if they had Boston lager, which was premium beer at that time. They said not here fancy pants and laughed me out of the store,I took it in stride as it was kind of funny.
But no,its not working for me too much

Very nice! Disappointed I didn’t hit Pop’s in Vegas last trip, my brother and ride wanted an Italian place and it worked out, but dying for one next trip.

    Spiteful IPA

At Spiteful, this IPA tastes a bit off, salty. Will finish it, but likely one and done as I want to try to walk home, after walking here from Revolution’s Brewpub. That and the fact dog owners here are provoking their dogs to bark for treats, and are fucking beyond obnoxious.

Thank you @Reef ! Billy Taylor is Born & Bred Chicago, his delivery is as smooth as a heroin needle drop.

That reminds me of the time I went to a newly opened package store. All they had was Bud, Miller etc so I walked out without buying anything. As I did so, the person at the cashier station said what's the problem, you one of them beer snobs. Lol, I ignored them and have never been back.

    Cheers!
