While I have a FOMO problem, those ADWTD prices hurt. I’d rather get B5Ks if I had access or 2017 BCBWs… I scored two Bottle Logic Intrepid Orchids that were oddly gone in like ten minutes from Tavour. That was a surprise tasty treat. West Coast has so many nice BWs.
Against all odds, a box containing my last 20+ Tavour bottles/cans arrived at my front door this morning. I opened and confirmed that all remaining bottles were included. How they held up will be determined after I actually drink them. This was the SECOND time this particular box had arrived to my home, after originally being left on my front step with no signature by the local courier service while I was out of state, despite the fact that I had called them directly twice beforehand to explain that I would be out of state and unable to take delivery, and despite their own policy requiring an adult to show ID in order to leave the package. Fortunately I checked tracking and saw "Delivered" and called to ask what the heck was going on (they sent someone out to go pick the box back up again). Seems fitting that there was one more unexpected hiccup to add to the litany. And yes, this is most definitely my last Tavour purchase.
I mean, they're already using your beer descriptions. Might as well create some competition. Can you not perpetually put milkshake IPAs and pastry sours in my feed?
Age Marketing. Its old so we can charge more!!! They cost 26 bucks here in California and all shelf turds. Theyve been sitting at my beer store since they released. For people that have never even seen an Abyss tho, theyll buy it
I can't do 2016 but a local place has a shitload of Fremont B Bombs, Rusty Nail, Dark Star and 12th AE beers for from 2020 through current for $30 each
I finally got Intrepid Orchid in my feed earlier this week as a "Secret Stash". Got Memory Systems (2022) yesterday, but it sold out fast (and I would've passed anyway - cinnamon bun stout). I finally got Barrel Aged Bucket of Bolts today. It was the only beer of intrigue in a recent set they posted, so I'm happy to see it as an individual bottle. Thinking this may be my last crate for awhile, spurred on by that Fonta Flora barleywine and ADWTD DO. Happy to have some more plain or basic barleywines gracing my feed as of late.
I got Bucket of Bolts to pop up individually too. Passed at $20. I can go buy a 4 pack of Straight Jacket for $25 and it's almost certainly better. They keep giving me pastry. Don't want that 3 Sons beer, Thursday just popped up and I'm not a maple guy. I'd like to see that Fonta Flora and Intrepid Orchid. Come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever seen a BL beer in my feed. And yet, they five me Urban Chestnut beers - which are great- but I live less than 3 hours from StL and we see wide distro of their beers.
I love Tavour! I am able to get a lot of beers that I simply cannot find down here in Florida. Anchorage Brewing for one.
I really want to buy this Jester King BA Vanilla Black Metal because of my unhealthy obsession with the roots of this scene and certain bands from it. But the cost and the underwhelming ratings have me showing restraint. Tavour's certainly trying though...Coffee Reve, So Happens It's Tuesday (I get this in distro), lots of OH hops, etc. Just give me my B6K and let's call it a day.
