    Greetings everyone. This has to be the single most overpriced beer I've ever had in my life. And to think I could have bought 3 bottles of Rochefort 10 instead :slight_frown:.

    Sigh. Oh well. At least I'll get a review out of it.

    I finally finished the Jai Alai. So fresh, so delicious.

    Now I'm sipping on an Odell Mountain Standard. Pretty close to its best by date but still tasty.

    Drinking whilst watching this gem of a horror flick:

    Now THAT is a brew that pretty much flies under the radar. I dug it big time!

    using my Johnny Walker snifter

    Hey guys! For those of you crazy enough to follow my Italian craft journey, I am coming back to this one this eve.

    I had opened this bottle 4 days ago. Now while I sip this one again, more of the amazing flavors reveal themselves.
    I taste the oak barrels more pronounced. When you first sip this you instantly know whether you like it or not. I know this is not for everyone and it is easily to be dismissed. BUT I think those that do dismiss this are forgetting the magic at work here: taking a barley wine and transforming into something so bold and different.

    I can not say much more except I enjoy this.

    I was told that this stands up to Alpine Nelson and I was sure to dig it also. Pelican5 was right, kinda of. It is tasty and I'm liking it, but I know Nelson and this is no Nelson! It's a close second, from what I remember this has a juicy more fruity punch on the end and Nelson had more of that rye spice that I really like. Still very damn good and would gladly drink anytime.
