Batch #2 from this past August.

 

Happened upon a straggler Elysian Great Pumpkin tonight at Whole Foods, just polished it off. Easily my favorite fall brew.

 

On to a Chimay blue. Also watching "Fletch". Here's the night so far:

 

Seems like a bit of a waste of two good brews.

 

Drinking a Union Jack IPA.

 

No soup for you.

 

This only seemed fitting.

You kidding me? Must have never tried FFF, Founders, or Bells. This has to be one of the thinnest "big" stouts I have ever tasted. Expand yo palate son!

 

Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout. They never disappoint. Among the best bang for your buck on the market.

 

Taking a break from the assortment of Christmas ales with Jinx Proof.

 

My first one ever. And it is awesome. Its great fresh so I can only imagine with some time on it. I'm actually surprised at how awesome it is this fresh.

And watching my recently purchased LotR Extended trilogy in preparation for my trip to The Hobbit this weekend.

 

Blackout is a solid brew, and Great Lakes brews what may be one of the finest porters crafted in Edmund Fitzgerald. Founders, Bells, and Three Floyds all make world-class beers, including many of my personal favorites. However, why shit on someone else's post? Maybe they have not yet tried the offerings from those producers. Respect others' thoughts and opinions.

I'm capping off the night with this. It's light for the style, but still complex in flavor and very tasty.

 

Now sipping on homebrew and strumming the ol' six-string...
